HeatnBond Hem Super Weight is an acid-free double-sided fusible webbing without paper backing, designed for projects that require a finished hem. Creates a clean do-not-sew permanent hem in seconds. Also great for use in home decor projects or for apparel repair. Its low temperature activation prevents damage to fabric, and is suitable for heavier fabrics such as heavy cotton, denim, suede, wool and corduroy. Machine washable and dryable after application.

  • Directions for Use:

    Pre-wash all materials without fabric softeners. Pre-test adhesive on materials before starting project.

    1. Preheat iron to medium heat, no steam.
    2. Turn item inside-out or turn over.
    3. Measure & press new hem into the fabric.
    4. Place Tape inside the new folded hem.
    5. Place and hold iron on the fabric for 3-5 seconds; repeat until entire surface is bonded. DO NOT apply iron directly to adhesive tape.
    6. Turn item right side out and iron fabric for additional 1-3 seconds.

    Tip: DO NOT SEW!  Use Super Weight Item #3722 for lighter weight fabrics such as cotton and linen.
