The Thread Stem is a magically-simple solution to the challenge of using large thread spools or cones with your sewing machine! This ultra-portable wand slides onto a spool pin and extends out beyond your machine's footprint to hover directly above a spool simply place on your sewing table. The thread feeds straight up into the Thread Stem's guide and through the rest of the threading system as usual. Compatible with virtually all sewing and embroidery machines. 

  • Instructions for Use:

    When Using a Horizontal Spool Pin:

    1. Place the Thread Stem onto the spool pin and secure with your machine's spool cap.
    2. Angle the Thread Stem to extend over the back of the machine.
    3. Set the large spool on the table behind your machine, positioned so that the thread feeds straight up into the thread-hole in the Stem. 
    4. Continue threading as normal. 

    When Using a Vertical Spool Pin: 

    1. Place the Thread Stem onto the spool pin. Either Secure with a spool cap, spool of thread, or clothespin to secure it in place.
    2. Rotate the Thread Stem to extend over the right side of the machine.
    3. Set the large spool on the table beside your machine, positioned so that the thread feeds straight up into the thread-hole in the Stem. 
    4. Continue threading as normal.
